Camping at The MacDonald Hotel
The campsite is situated immediately to the rear of the hotel beside the landscaped tidal creek, and only 100 metres from the West Highland Way. This prime location gives the campsite fantastic views down Loch Leven, as seen to the right.
Campers have the use of all the facilities, which include: toilets, free hot showers, laundry facilites, pot wash and drying room.
Campers also have easy access to the Bothy Bar for bar meals or drinks in the evening, and can book breakfast for the morning in as well.
The camping fee is just £6.00 per person per night.
A full Scottish breakfast is available for only £6.00. Vegetarian and Gluten Free Breakfasts are also available, please ask when booking.
Alternatively, to ensure a prompt start to the day, you may order a bacon, sausage or egg roll to be collected in the morning. These rolls are £3.00 each.
If campers are walking or climbing for the day, they can also book a packed lunch for the next day. Packed lunches are only £5.00, and include a handmade sandwich, crisps, a piece of fruit, a chocolate bar and a drink.
