Activities to do around The MacDonald Hotel
The main activity around Kinlochleven is the West Highland Way, Scotland's most famous long distance walking path, which extends from Glasgow to Fort William. However, there are a number of other activities in and around Kinlochleven which are easily accessible from the hotel.

There are numerous well formed paths into the hills behind Kinlochleven, not least the West Highland Way. Another path passes the old aluminium factory's tailrace up to the Black Water Dam, an hour's trek from the MacDonald Hotel, in Kinlochleven.
