The MacDonald Hotel Restaurant

The MacDonald Hotel Restaurant is the perfect place for that special meal. We have a wide choice of Highland dishes, as well has a range of bar favourites and daily blackboard specials.

All of our dishes are prepared from fresh local produce whenever possible and are presented to a high standard.

We also have a wide choice of wine and other drinks with which to complement your meal.

TO START OR FOR A LIGHT LUNCH:

Loch Linnhe Smoked Salmon on a bed of crisp salad, drizzled with a balsamic dressing and served with brown bread   £4.90

Haggis fritters - regular or vegetarian  served with a small side salad and caramelised onion     £4.80

Lochaber Wild Venison Pate with redcurrant jelly & oatcakes   £4.20

MAIN COURSES:

8 ounce Scottish Sirloin Steak with mushrooms, onion rings, and grilled tomatoes, alongside salad and chips    £15.90

Tender Lamb Shank  served on a bed of mash with a red wine and rosemary sauce, and vegetables on the side   £11.90

Chef’s Steak and Ale Pie.  Tender chunks of steak in a gravy of Highlands-made ale, topped with a puff pastry lid and served with a side order of vegetables or a portion of chips    £9.90

Baked haddock wrapped in smoked salmon served with a lemon and parsley sauce, with chips and salad      £9.50

Fillet of Sea Bass on a herb mash, topped with a Hollandaise sauce and served with a selection of vegetables       £9.50
